
INTERIOR DESIGN - Scope Of Works
Based on the design criteria and the architectural/engineering building documentation, ASDA pte ltd shall address in general the following aspects of the project: Develop all the functional layout plans which are part of the Areas of work of the project;
Propose Interior Design theme/s and concept/s based on the design brief received by the client/operator; Integrate and coordinate architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing elements with interior design concepts; Definition of general concept of architectural and mood lighting; Selection and specification of color schemes, interior architectural finishes and interior decorative finishes; Selection and specification of Furnishings and Fixtures.
1. PRELIMINARY DESIGN PHASE [ PD ]​

Identification of Functional Macro zone areas with schematic layouts based on client/operator design and branding Brief.

Preliminary sketch layout plans;

Floor Plan Development: Design the floor plan with considerations for dining, bar, kitchen, storage, and restroom spaces.

Flow Analysis: Optimise layout for efficient service flow, customer movement, and seating arrangements to maximise capacity.

Coordination meetings with Client, Management/ Operators and other consultants to achieve best layout solution;
2. CONCEPT DESIGN DEVELOPMENT [ CD ] ​

Theme & Storyline Creation: Develop a unique storytelling concept that threads cultural references into the interior and branding elements.

Themes and Concepts are illustrated by Mood & Inspiration images and by colored layout plans;

Identify key design elements, colour schemes, and styles that resonate with the F&B concept brief and propose preliminary B&W 3D perspectives /sketches

Selection of interior architectural materials, and FF&E items and presentation with digital Material Sample slides
-
Propose design concepts for Loose and Built-in furniture.

Client Review & Approval: Adjust based on client feedback and finalize the overarching concept.
3. SCHEMATIC DESIGN PHASE [ SD ]

Develop interior design based on approved concept design with final revised Mood & Inspiration images;

Propose final colored layout plans with material selection and final furniture layout

Propose colored elevations of main key elevations with material selection;

Final colored 3D Rendered perspectives with lighting, ceiling fixtures, and other décor elements that reinforce the cultural theme
-
Present mood boards with colour palettes, materials and textures of different areas with architectural interior finishes, decorative interior finishes and selection of FF&E items (i.e. fabrics, carpets, fixed and loose furniture and materials).

Presentation to Client for revision and approval of Schematic Design phase.
4. DETAILED DESIGN DEVELOPMENT PHASE [ DD ] / SPECIFICATIONS

Develop interior design based on the approved Schematic Design. This phase will include Dimensional plans, Furniture plans, Floor finishes plans, Reflected Ceiling plans with lighting layout and Switches and power point layouts (excluding Kitchen, Equipment, Electrical and Plumbing drawings - by Specialist)

Develop interior Elevations with labeling of finishes treatment.

Design intent drawings for all built-in cabinets and/or wall panels which are under Interior Designer’s scope of work. (all shop drawings for the above mentioned will be produced by contractors).

Selection of all Furniture and Design Artefacts.

Implementation of DD phase drawings showing detail design intent specifically for tender / quotation scope.

Prepare specifications of ID items and Door schedule.

Issuance of drawings to Client for review and approval of Design Development phase. This phase will allow the Client to use the DD documentation for Tender purpose and a achieve more consolidated and accurate cost analysis of the project.

5. CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION PHASE [ C & I ]

On-Site Supervision: Oversee Mock-up Inspection and construction to ensure design integrity, timeline adherence, and quality control.

Issue details as required for site co-ordination.

Review and approve shop drawings produced by Contractors under our scope of work.

Review and approve FF&E items proposed by vendors.

Site Meetings (Virtual meetings by teleconference) for Punch List and Rectification Works

Review and approve payment stages proposed by contractor and vendors
