Firenze Apartment is a double-volume ceiling penthouse in Florence, draws inspiration from minimalist French rustic beauty, blending timeless elegance with modern simplicity. Originally designed with a brutalist interior in the 1960s, the space was transformed to meet the new owner’s desire for a clutter-free, refined aesthetic, incorporating classic French elements like wainscoting and a muted tonal color scheme.

To soften the imposing double-volume ceiling, the design cleverly creates an illusion of a lower ceiling, balancing the grandeur with a more intimate feel. The dining room features a long wooden table, Scandinavian-style chairs, and a modern chandelier, adding a touch of rustic charm to the space. The kitchen's exposed brick highlights the French rustic appeal, bringing warmth and character to the otherwise minimalist atmosphere. The overall result is a harmonious fusion of French elegance with a subtle rustic touch.
