LEVEL 33 - Case Study
33rd floor, MBFC Tower 1, Singapore
BEFORE

Level 33, the world's highest urban microbrewery, is a one-of-a-kind, award -winning rooftop bar and dining destination that honours the craft of beer-making. Offering a unique blend of laid-back "penthouse" dining and some of the most spectacular views of the Marina Bay skyline, it’s a place where good beer and great atmosphere meet.
Building a microbrewery on the 33rd floor of a tower posed a major challenge, but we rose to the occasion and brought this ambitious vision to life. The "multizone" layout was thoughtfully planned from the start to ensure an exciting, dynamic experience for every guest. The bar takes centre stage, with other areas—like the Baron Rothschild private dining rooms, the formal dining space, and the outdoor terrace—radiating outward, creating a layered, functional design that elevates every moment spent here.

AFTER

This ambitious project came to life thanks to the creativity and ingenuity of our designers. One of the most remarkable challenges was lifting eight tons of copper brewing kettles to the 33rd floor—a monumental achievement in itself.
With a design that merges contemporary, industrial, and casual elegance, this popular microbrewery and restaurant has captured the hearts of a diverse crowd—corporate clients, local food enthusiasts, and international visitors alike.
We embraced the colours and textures inspired by the beer-making process. The raw copper kettles and stainless-steel fermentation tanks stand out against the sleek, nude cement floors, while the warm pinewood bar counter, walnut timber panels, and expertly crafted lighting create a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The blend of industrial elements with rich, inviting details makes the space both sophisticated and welcoming
The restaurant and microbrewery renovation, under ASDA's management and site supervision was completed in only 100 days.
